Care Ministry

There are many ways for you to volunteer to care for the Ridge Point faith community. Contact Cindy Nyhoff, Care Ministry Pastor, at any time to learn more about how to connect at 616.395.4126 x436, or cindyn@ridgepoint.org. To be added to the list of those who receive email notifications when care needs arise, contact cindyn@ridgepoint.org.

Care Ministry Team options include, but are not limited to:

Care
1) Visiting those who are hospitalized or confined to their homes temporarily due to surgery or illness

2) Visiting those who may have longer term care needs

3) Preparation of meals that can be frozen, then delivered when needed

4) Signing up for meal preparation and delivery via “Take Them A Meal” emailed schedules

5) Notifying the Care Ministry office of a specialized skill you are able to offer on a volunteer basis (construction, plumbing, lawn care, etc.)

6) Responding to requests for care projects and needs as they arise

Prayer
1) Being available to pray with those who desire prayer following weekend services

2) Signing up to receive e-mail prayer updates when sent out by Care Ministry

3) Notifying the Care Ministry office when you are able to respond personally to a prayer request
