Giving
Options: As you give to the campuses of Ridge Point Community Church, consider the convenient options available.
Simply place cash or checks in an offering bucket during any weekend service. Offering boxes are also available in multiple locations throughout the building. Be sure to include your name and address on the check or envelope in order to receive credit for tax purposes.
Many Ridge Pointers set up Ridge Point Church in their bill payment accounts through their banking institution. This allows you to be in complete control of how often money is mailed to Ridge Point, on what day and in what amount. You can set this up online through your banking institution with the following information: Ridge Point Church Attn: Business Office, 340 104th Ave, Holland, MI 49423. You may also send regular checks to this address.
You can enjoy knowing you are giving faithfully without having to remember your checkbook each weekend. Ridge Point can debit your checking or savings account weekly or monthly for the amount you designate to the Ministry or Building Funds.
You will receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of your securities at the time of donation and you will pay no capital gains tax on the difference between your cost and the fair market value. To arrange a donation of this type, please email
finance@ridgepoint.org or call 616.395.4126 x434.
The Ministry Fund is used for operating expenses such as utilities, staff salaries, weekend worship and ministry supplies, curriculum for children and students, food, equipment, building and equipment maintenance, cleaning, etc. This is the primary funding source of the church and allows us to open our doors to be available for lost and hurting people as well as people desiring to grow in their relationship with God. Ten percent of the resources received into this fund are administered by our Partnerships Team to build and support relationships locally and globally through mission activity. The Love Fund is also funded through the Ministry Fund and allows us to provide short term assistance for families who are experiencing periods of financial hardship. Offerings received by Ridge Point will go into this fund unless designated otherwise.
The Building Fund is used for future facility expansion projects since there currently is no debt (Praise God!). When there is a pledge campaign for expansion, this is the fund from which construction, debt and related expenses are paid. Expansions are bathed in prayer and intentionality is put into how to design our campuses so that people feel welcomed, comfortable and safe while seeking God. You may contribute to this fund by writing “Building Fund” in the memo section of your check. Gifts to this fund should be over and above your regular tithes and offerings.
Ridge Point is committed to honoring God’s provision by exercising wise and faithful stewardship, ethical business practices and full accountability to ensure the financial integrity of Ridge Point Church remains above reproach. We accomplish this through a system of internal controls and an internal budgeting and reporting process. In addition, an annual audit or review is performed by an independent certified public accounting firm. A copy of Ridge Point’s most recently audited financial statements may be requested by emailing
